Mystery and awe

I am entranced by Celtic myths and nature tales. Stories told about natural occurrences that are unexplainable. We still do not fully understand why certain things happen from a science perspective. I am fine with that. Not knowing and story telling are both good for the mind and soul. In November I was in Keswick, UK and visited the Castelrigg stone circle. Like Stonehenge exactly but without the fuss. My husband and I were there by ourselves, in a field, in the rain. It was magical. Beautiful. Literally awesome. And to this day, the purpose of these Neolithic stones (3200 BC) remains unknown. Ceremonial? Astronomical? I do know I felt a force, an energy coming from the ground.
